Find Your Ribbon by Printer

Start with the exact brand and full model of your printer, from the label on the printer or from its manual. TM-U220 is not TM-U200, and SP200 is not SP300: one digit changes the ribbon.
Receipt printers: Epson
Epson ERC 30/34/38 ribbon, single or 12-pack, and Epson ERC-23 ribbon, single or 6-pack, for Epson POS printers. The two families are not interchangeable.
Receipt printers: Star
Star SP200 ribbon, Star SP300 ribbon, and Star SP-700 ribbon, also listed for SP-712 and SP-742 on its product page. SP200, SP300 and SP-700 are not interchangeable.
Citizen and Verifone
Citizen IR71 ribbon, single or 6-box, listed among others for Citizen DP700 and DP730, and Verifone 900 ribbon for payment terminals. Citizen DP 600 IR 61 is a separate family, not to be confused with IR71.
Calculator ink rollers
IR-40T ink roller, black and red, pack of 5, and Casio IR-60 / Citizen IR-61 ink ribbon, pack of 6.
